Take-up falls to the lowest quarterly total since 2009 with large transactions particularly scarce.
Prime rents expected to continue to stagnate in the majority of markets in 2013, but the outlook for 2014 is more positive.
A new phase of speculative office schemes will complete in 2013-14 in a few key markets. Elsewhere the quality of available space will continue to deteriorate.
