Investment was broadly flat in Q2, but on a 4 quarter rolling basis the annual total reached £53.3bn, the highest since Q3 2007 (£53.5bn).
We have seen a marked shift in share of activity from Central London to the regions, with the latter’s share of activity reaching 67% in H1 204, compared to 57% in 2013.
We have also seen a shift back towards domestic investors; the long term 60:40 split between domestic and overseas investment in the UK has been restored in H1 2014.
