The third quarter of the year saw commercial investment skyrocket to over €2.8 Bn.
During the third quarter Spanish Socimis (REITs) ramped up investment. Investment by Socimis totalled almost 30% of the total investment volume for Q1 to Q3 and 55% of the Q3 investment volume.
In the first three quarters of 2014, domestic vendors featured in 65% of transactions in number of deals but accounted for only 41% of the total investment volume. This is mostly due to the size of divestments made by some foreign vendors.
