Chicago’s economy started 2013 much in the way it ended 2012, stagnant with little to no job growth, and is not expected to regain the jobs lost during recession until late 2015. Employment in February is down 5,793 jobs from a year earlier. The office market will continue to see slow or flat movement, as low office-using employment growth as well as tenants looking to move to the CBD, restrain demand for space.
