Although the outlook for the Finnish economy is more optimistic for the latter half of 2013, the immediate outlook is more subdued. Factory closures and downsizing in traditional industries such as forestry has resulted in demand for industrial space remaining subdued over the first quarter of the year. Consequently, prime rents were unchanged over the quarter in Helsinki and across the rest of the country.
