After a modest slowdown in Q4, economic conditions softened further in Q1 as indicated by a fall in goods exports, negative manufacturing PMI in February and renewed uncertainty stemming from the events in Cyprus and Italy. However, the economy is still expected to grow in the first half of this year thanks to the resilient domestic demand.
