The Austrian economy has been stable throughout 2013, although there is the possibility of a pick-up in GDP towards the end of the year. Austria’s elections took place recently with little consequence, with no major changes or reforms on the horizon to affect the state of the economy. Following suit, the Austrian office market was largely steady over the quarter, with modest occupier demand keeping prime rents firm across the country.
