Beijing – grade A office rental pushed up by CBD, with increase of 1.94%
In Q3 2014, Beijing grade A office rents rose 1.94% quarter-on-quarter (q-o-q) to RMB 387.62 (US$63.03) per sq m per month, year-on-year (y-o-y) growth of 2.89%, due to CBD rental increases for rare leasable space. Due to the lack of office supply in the past two years, rents in this area increased 2.25% q-o-q to RMB 393.30 (US$63.95) per sq m per month, a y-o-y increase of 3.18%.

Tianjin – traditional business centre undergoes wide-ranging changes
This quarter, many street shops and department stores in Tianjin’s traditional retail centre, Binjiang Road, underwent wide-ranging retailer changes in order to meet the competition from several big shopping malls opening soon. In the near future, retail formats, the shopping environment and the brand levels will be upgraded, and during this quarter brand adjustment was still ongoing in major shopping centres.
