A research produced by
Four consecutive years of positive growth saw funds of funds achieve a very solid double digit return of 15.1% in 2016, making last year
the third best year since 2002. Returns were higher in 2015 (18.7%) and in 2006 (16.5%). There is considerable variation between the performance of funds of funds in this year’s study, with the range from highest to lowest being 68.0%.
In terms of investment style, core funds of funds returned 15.3% in 2016 while non-core generated 13.4%.
