Four years after the Paris Agreement, the impact of buildings is still central to meeting carbon emission reduction targets. At COP25 in Madrid (2-14 December), British architectural firm Foster + Partners presented a manifesto and a methodology to quantify and help limit a building’s total emissions. David Nelson, Head of Design, and Chris Trott, Head of Sustainability, present this initiative.
