In the context of the global pandemic, merchants and shopping centre owners are tearing each other apart over the issue of rents. The retailers are asking for their suspension rather than postponement during the quarantine period. After this period, they advocate for rent escalation. The sector survival is at stake, assures to Business Immo, Emmanuel Le Roch, General Delegate of Procos, a federation representing some 300 retailers.
