Like all players in the hotel and tourism industry, AccorInvest has been hit hard by the Covid-19 pandemic. After seeing its turnover fall by 70% in 2020, a loss of around €2.7bn, the group was forced to announce in mid-January a social restructuring plan targeting 1,900 jobs in Europe. In an exclusive interview with Business Immo, its managing director, Gilles Clavié, presents the transformation plan put in place to take the recovery in its stride.
