Why shopping centre openings are becoming increasingly rare in France

According to a study by Knight Frank published in September 2022, the decline in the creation of new retail space is a structural trend in the French market́. The average surface area of projects examined by the CNAC in 2022 is down by 52% compared to the 2016-2019 period.
