According to official statistics, Russia’s economy grew by 2.1% year-on-year in the fourth quarter and 1.8% on the previous quarter. Retail sales grew 4.4% in March 2013 over the same month in the previous year, while the consumer confidence indicator rose one point to minus seven in Q1 2013.
