The FTSE EPRA/NAREIT Developed (Global) Index increased 2.4 % during October
2013. Global equities increased 4.3% while the global bonds market gained 0.8%. Real estate markets in North America won 3.8% and Europe increased 4.2% while Asia was down by 0.2%.
Over one-year period, global real estate investments have returned 7,9% compared to 26,6% and 1,1% return global equities and global bonds, respectively. Annualised ten-year rolling returns for real estate investments stand at 8,3%. Equities gained 7,7 % while bonds markets posted a 3,9% return per annum.
