Local high tech employment grew by 2.2% during that time period, outperforming the state’s 2.0% increase and the national average growth rate of 1.6%. Office-using employment expanded at a slower pace with 1.3%, comparing favorably to 1.0% growth throughout the state and trailing the national average of 2.4%.
