Take-up increased from Q2, to reach 90,000 sq m (Figure 2). Additionally, this is a large change on the third quarter from the previous year which sat at 44,000 sq m. The two largest operations represented 33% of the total take-up and without the largest operation take-up would have sat below the first and second quarters.
While there are a certain number of relatively modern buildings or efficient refurbishments within the CBD, those of high quality that are space efficient, modern and comparable on a European level, tend to command a substantial premium over the area average due to their scarcity and have almost no vacancy.
