In recent years, the Dutch economy has exeperienced relative economic stability, slightly underperforming the Eurozone. Going forward, the economy is expected to slightly outperform. Although the Netherlands does not guarantee the same structural soundness as Germany, it tends not to suffer form periods of significant instability, as has been the case for much of Southern Europe. The next couple of years looks to be characterised by a modest recovery led by private demand, ensuring 2,0% annualized GDP growth through 2018, on par with Germany and above France and the Eurozone average.
