The case for the continued outperformance of Ireland’s real estate market in a European context was underlined in the European Commission’s latest economic outlook. In its Spring Statement, the Commission raised its Irish GDP growth forecast for 2016 to 4.9%, up from the 4.5% contained in its Winter Statement, while simultaneously revising down its forecast for the EU from 1.7% to 1.6%.
