The unemployment rate for the Charlotte MSA is 6.4% in February, a decline from 6.9% in January. This region will continue to attract companies looking for a low-cost and skilled workforce, business-friendly government, and an airport which provides global access. A recent CNN Money report listed Charlotte as the 8th fastest growing metro area between July 2012 and July 2013.
