Jean-Baptiste Pinthon, a Business Developer at HomeByMe, believes there are several factors that contribute to HomeByMe’s success with professionals. "In a very short time, with a controlled budget and without technical prerequisites or architectural skills, real estate agents can offer their clients a virtual visit that helps them to plan ahead". This is an important factor for real estate professionals seeing 80-90% of buyers have difficulty imagining themselves living in a new home. It is even harder for buyers when the home does not have a design they like to begin with. For 83% of buyers, the decoration and style of the home is a key factor in deciding whether or not to buy a home. In fact, home staging specialists found that 85% of future homebuyers pre-select the properties they are interested in visiting according to the house’s aesthetics in photos. "Buying off plan as in the context of major works, HomeByMe does not necessarily allow you to sell more expensively, but to really sell faster," states Jean-Baptiste.

Improving Your Customers’ Shopping Experience

Once a customer buys their new home, the 3D HomeByMe plan can be offered to new owners at no extra cost. Being able to immediately start designing their future home will significantly improve a customer’s buying experience. "Customizations are possible. Thus, property developers often ask us to block the load-bearing walls, so that buyers cannot modify them," says Jean-Baptiste.

Users can subscribe to a professional subscription, which gives them access to unlimited projects and realistic images of their designs. HomeByMe also gives users the option to send in a floor plan and have their team convert it into a 3D floorplan. Interior design services are also available for HomeByMe customers who want a design plan created for them based on their style preferences.

As a new player in the Proptech market, HomeByMe has several clients, such as Explorimmo, Foncia and LaFôret, who add the HomeByMe 3D floorplan to their property listings under exclusive mandates. “Interactive 3D plans will quickly become part of new marketing standards. By partnering with innovative actors such as HomeByMe, Laforêt is further expanding its range of services for the benefit of consumers," said Yann Jehanno, Executive Director of Laforêt. Through a partnership with HomeByMe, Laforêt’s customers can now virtually visualize a property from all angles and modify it to fit their needs. "With 3D plans, the potential buyer can more easily “appropriate" a home, which he can visualize and redesign!” explains Laforêt. Cihan Kilic, a development and sales manager at Ægefim Promotion who uses HomeByMe, agrees that "modelling allows customers to really get involved and then make the decision more easily".
