Slow progress is being seen in the Bulgarian industrial market as demand remains weak however, rents are faring reasonably well due to the dire lack of quality space. Industrial developers were largely on the sidelines with speculative developers cautious and risk-averse, but with conditions slowly improving selective schemes are breaking ground. Foreign investment in light-industrial projects was the key supply and demand driver.
